Relevant education

You are in relevant education if you are:

• aged under 20, and

• in non-advanced education or approved training that you started before you were aged 19, and

• your course is of 12 or more hours a week.

Non-advanced courses include:

GCSE
A Level
AS Level
NVQ up to Level 3 
GNVQ up to Intermediate Level 
Any course that is not 'advanced education'.
